"The pierogi establishment is stuffed with bold and quirky Polish references to the extent where it is hard to tell what is seriously meant and what is a pun or a gimmick. Maybe, it’s light-heartedness taken seriously. It’s this vibe that makes EPML stand out in the most charming manner. The food is good - somehow, I never manage to get beyond the pierogi (other than some pickles and occasional dessert). It’s comfort food that does not surprise and does not disappoint. Perhaps, that’s the whole point. Service is efficient and friendly. The shelves of Polish vodkas are tempting, but I am always too early in the day for those, maybe next time, since it’s a lovely spot to come back to."

"Great name, great Pierogi! We just popped in for a quick lunch, there was a whole bunch of us but the service was quick and the pierogi delicious! They tasted a lot better than my terrible photo make them look, truly! We were going back to class so didn't drink anything from the amazing looking cocktail menu but I'm sure they would be as delicious as they sounded!"

"Let me tell you something. They looked after us. You know, I am really appreciative of how much care and love went into not only the food but the way we were treated. Vitalya was exceptional - Absolutely polished, professional and so welcoming and genuinely kind. We ordered many different items from all sections of the menu and every dish not only tasted like an absolute gift but it was equally matched in presentation, plating and even colour-wise, so balanced. The entire experience, from the inviting decor to the bespoke paper they use in their take away boxes, from appetisers to desserts - can be described only as thoughtful in the truest sense. We had such a lovely selection of vegan and vegetarian options as well. Thank you for a wonderful evening, hope to return again soon. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"

"This Polish restaurant is a gem on Lygon St! I love the aesthetic and the vibes of the restaurant, and visited on a Monday night where they served the Pierogi Infinity and reduced menu. The Pierogi Infinity is $39pp and you can have an unlimited supply of the 5 choices. The mains are only available on Wed-Sunday. The Kapusta is my most favourite, and I will return to try the main next time."

"Came from Cairns to catch up with mama and this is the place we wanted to try out. I can honestly say everything about this restaurant is 5 star. What a modern way to bring in Polish cuisine to Australians. Guy the owner is a very lovely man and all the staff were excellent. Oh and the food was amazing. I highly recommend this place for everything food and drink. Don't forget to catch their pierogi van at the Polish Festival at Federation square this month!!!!"

"First time in Melbourne from NZ and knew I had to visit this restaurant as I’m half polish and never had polish food! Went on a Sunday night and it was buzzing luckily dining solo I was able to get a spot straight away at the bar. Staff were lovely and recommended me lots of different dishes - I played it safe this time with some pierogis, smashed potatoes and a salad next time I would like to be more adventures but I loved the Pierogis and the cheese was to die for! Tasted like a proper European cheesecake, save space for that! Can’t wait to come back in the future and try more. Also great spot to read your book!"

"Not cheap but definitely delicious. Service and atmosphere were mediocre probably because of how busy it was on a Monday with the all-you-can-eat deal. Luckily the weather was good so we sat outside and avoided the crowded/loud interior."

"We had an amazing time celebrating Polish wigilia whilst spending our family holidays in Melbourne. The quality of food was simply outstanding, brought back so many traditional flavours from home.. that karp was beyond awesome! Absolutely perfect Polish place on a map of Melbourne . Dziekujemy!"
